Gan B’nai Shalom Preschool is an early childhood education center committed to an energetic, safe, and supportive creative learning experience. We help our children build positive self-images through innovative play, age appropriate educational activities, and socialization within the security of a community setting. We believe that children learn from direct participation and offer a creative “hands-on” program, with special emphasis on literacy, problems solving, communication, math, science and personal character.

We strive to instill a life-long love of learning through a preschool experience that is positive for each child. It is our goal to recognize the uniqueness of each child and help children to appreciate their own specialness. We encourage cooperative social skills in a safe and supportive environment to foster self-respect, love of family and friends, and appreciation for the community around us. In this way, we can nurture each child’s emotional, intellectual, creative and physical abilities.

We are a family-oriented school and sponsor special family events in order to bring our families together for quality time. Parent participation is always encouraged and suggestions are always welcomed. Parents are encouraged to come to school often to share special talents with the children.

We are located on the beautiful grounds of Congregation B’nai Shalom in Walnut Creek and offer both a strong general education as well as the hallmarks of an education rooted in Jewish traditions. We welcome students of all faiths and backgrounds as we promote the ideals of good character, acceptance and tolerance.

Gan B’nai Shalom preschool is licensed by the state of California and staffed by certified teachers and qualified assistants. Our instructors have the knowledge of early childhood development and are committed to educating your child through positive interaction and rewarding activities.

Gan B’nai Shalom offers both a core daily program as well as extended hours before and after school. We also offer flexible day options for all students.
